Oil industry events update...

If you are in Canada and have an interest in unconventional oil and the environment you are in luck. Over the next few days taking place is the Unconventional Oils & the Environment conference in Calgary, AB. Find out more at the conference website by clicking here.
A bit further north in Alberta in Fort McMurray will be the annual Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference in September. On the 13 & 14 of September all those with an interest in the oil sands should make their way to the far north. Moving on to slightly more warmer areas of the world the Thailand Oil & Gas Trade Show will take place from 8 - 10 September 2011. You can read all about it and register at their website.
Just north of Houston, Texas in the Woodlands will be the 4th Annual Exploration & production technology Summitt 2011. On the 27 & 28 September 2011 a range of presentations & workshops on the use of innovative technologies in the oil industry presented by some of the most forward thinking industry people. On the other side of the planet (more or less) is the 2011 Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia (20 - 22 September). One of the larger events in the Asia Pacific region and a key event in the annual diary. You can read more about this event on the website.
Finally, come and see the SAS team at Lagcoe in louisiana. This event has been around for over 50 years and provides an opportunity for all companies and people in the Gulf Coast to network and see what is going on in the industry. The event takes place 25 - 27 October 2011 in Lafayette. Find out more on the website.
